ALCB is Lutheran in faith and life. That means foremost that we revel in the fact that we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and through that alone. Good deeds, may they be as numerous and noble as they may be, are unable to outweigh the offense that our sin has done. The reformer Martin Luther rediscovered this most important Christian truth and this is also the focal point of the Lutheran Confessions. A short Lutheran creed is this: Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, Scripture alone.
It's this forgiveness of God that we find in the Gospel that propels us to share the Love of God with each other and those around us.
Statement of Faith
We confess our faith together with all of the churches through the ecumenical creeds, and with our Lutheran confessions. These can be found at www.bookofconcord.org/creeds.php
Come for a visit -- we'd love to get to know you.
Before you come to Communion we ask you to talk to the Pastor. He is happy to visit with you. Consider this an invitation to a cup of coffee! :)
